Let me introduce myself!

My name is Debra Goldman and I’ve been a personal trainer for over 35 years (one of the first in Massachusetts) and a Stott trained Pilates instructor for 20 years. I work with men and women of all ages and, I especially enjoy working with people over 50.

Over the years I’ve worked with clients with many different health challenges. From arthritis (osteo and rheumatoid), cancer, hypertension, diabetes, joint replacements, post physical therapy, etc. The key is to assess each person based on their medical history and fitness goals; then develop a comprehensive program to help them attain their goals. The desire to be fit, resides in you, not in your trainer. My job is to help you get there without injury/boredom. I develop home/travel programs for everyone at no additional cost.

My own health challenges have provided me with the opportunity to learn how to best “go with the flow” when it comes to my own fitness needs.  I’ve had to adapt my exercise to accommodate: back pain, osteoarthritis in my knees, cervical cancer, surgery, metabolic issues resulting in weight gain, pregnancy and postpartum and menopause. There may be other challenges as I continue to age but short of quadriplegia, I plan on continuing to exercise!  It makes me feel good, keeps my weight down and keeps me moving at a pace that I wouldn’t be able to maintain otherwise!

Come join me for a unique fitness experience!

~ My goal is to help people maintain the optimal functions of their body for a lifetime. ~

~ Testimonials ~

Deb designs a personal work-out to make me stronger and consequently alleviate my back pain. Working on exercise machines could be very boring but in her lovely studio, one whole side of which looks out onto a lovely lawn receding into a woodland, the experience is a pleasure.
